On December 19, 2024, Noor-e-Sehar Special Education School (NSSES) hosted a vibrant celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD). The event aimed to promote inclusivity, creativity, and awareness, making it a memorable day for everyone.

The event was honored by the presence of several notable guests, including:

  • Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah, Deputy Commissioner of Ghotki, Sindh, as the chief guest.
  • Mr. Hassan Nawaz, RMS MPCL Field Daharki.
  • Col. Munir, Mr. Hairuddin Baloch, Mr. Nawab Murree, and other esteemed guests from MPCL Field Daharki.
    Students and teachers from Engro Grammar School, along with guests from neighboring schools, also attended to celebrate this important occasion.

The carnival-themed event kicked off with a warm welcome address by Muhammad Atif Sheikh, ED STEP, followed by an insightful speech from the chief guest in Jinnah Hall.

To mark NSSES’s five successful years, a special cake-cutting ceremony and a piñata-bursting activity brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

The academic block transformed into a carnival with four themed areas:

  1. Gaming Station: A fun zone for gaming enthusiasts.
  2. Art Station: Featuring souvenirs, a face-painting corner, and a display of creative talent.
  3. Horror House: An adventurous setup for thrill-seekers.
  4. Global Kitchen: A culinary delight offering savory and sweet treats for all age groups.

Diversity Wall

A special Diversity Wall allowed attendees to share their thoughts, leaving messages of inclusivity and hope. This initiative highlighted the importance of unity and understanding.
