Promoting Nutrition and Inclusion for Children with Disabilities
We are proud to announce the official launch of the Mari Meal Program at Noor-e-Sehar Special Education School (NSSES), supported by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Mari Energies. This program marks a vital step towards improving the nutrition, health, and overall well-being of students with disabilities.
Launched in June 2025, the Mari Meal Program ensures that all enrolled students receive a fresh, balanced, and nutritious meal every school day. The program is designed to address nutritional deficiencies, promote better classroom engagement, and support the physical and cognitive development of children with special needs.
Why the Mari Meal Program Matters
Many of our students face multiple challenges, including poverty, disability, and health-related issues. Malnutrition can significantly affect their ability to learn, focus, and thrive in the classroom.
Thanks to the generous support of Mari Energies, the school can now provide:
- Daily hot meals prepared under hygienic conditions
- Meals tailored to meet nutritional needs of children with varying disabilities
- A dignified mealtime environment promoting independence and social interaction
The initiative directly aligns with our mission to offer inclusive education and holistic care.
Impact on Student Well-Being
Since its launch, the program has already begun to show positive changes in student energy levels and attendance. Teachers and therapists have observed:
- Improved classroom attentiveness and participation
- Increased regularity in school attendance
- Enhanced student morale and confidence
Community and Partner Acknowledgment
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mari Energies for their continued CSR partnership and commitment to social inclusion and education. Their support through initiatives like the Mari Meal Program is creating lasting impact in the lives of children with disabilities.
Moving Forward
The Mari Meal Program is not just a food initiative—it is a symbol of care, equality, and empowerment. It represents a shared vision of a society where every child, regardless of ability or background, has the right to quality education, health, and dignity.
We look forward to expanding the program in collaboration with stakeholders and community partners to ensure no child is left behind.
